Parent Teacher Conferences - Thursday, Oct 20 and Thurs, November 10
East Clinton High School will be having our Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 20 and Thursday, November 10, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

If you are interested in meeting with any or all of your child’s teachers, complete the form below and return it to the office by Friday, October 7.  Please make sure to indicate the time, and name of the teacher with whom you would like a conference.  (If requesting a conference with Ms. Jackie Walker or Mrs. Tammy Walker, please state teacher’s first name).  A phone conference is also an option.

Once forms have been returned, we will try our best to accommodate your requested time and then notify you of your scheduled appointments. If you have questions, please call the high school at 937-584-2474.

Homecoming Information - Week of September 26
Game and Crowning Ceremony: The game will be held on Friday, September 30 at 7:30 PM.  The crowning ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 PM.

Dance: The Homecoming dance will be on Saturday, October 1. Ticket prices are $15; tickets are presale only and will go on sale the week of Homecoming (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday); entrance for the dance is through the Middle School gym. Doors to the gym will open at 7:30 for all those interested in getting pictures ahead of time. The dance will begin promptly at 8:00 and will conclude at 11:00. Doors will close at 9:00 - everyone must be in the school by this time.

All HS dances are for HS students or recents graduates only.   Any non-ECHS guest must have a dance pemission form completed and signed by the home school principal before purchasing tickets. All guests must be high school students or recent graduates (no one over the age of 20). The form is available below or can be picked up in the forms rack across from the office.

Homecoming Court Announced
The Homecoming Court of 2016 has been announced. Homecoming king and queen will be announced Friday, September 30 at 7:00, prior to the football game.
Freshman attendants: Jessica Hoskins and Richard Wood.
Sophomore attendants:
Cheyenne Berry, Alyssa Stoops, Shane Streber, and Shmar Hyman. Junior attendants: Sydney Michael and Daniel Feal Fajardo.
Senior attendants/candidates: Page Hughes, Stacy Bernard, Mindy Bean, Carrie Pickering, Rebecca Bevan, Cameron Conner, Joey Gray, Anthony Osburn, Ashton Noble, and Luke Meares.

Attacking the ACT Workshops 101 and 102 - Dates in October
Attacking the ACT workshops will be held on Saturday, October 1 and Saturday, October 15 at the Southern Ohio ESC and will begin approximately at 9am. For more information, click here.
Project Trust Counselors - Applications Available
Project Trust is looking for high school students to become counselors for camp. If you are a freshman, sophomore, or junior and would like to become a counselor, please come pick up an application form in the office. The application window closes Monday, October 31.
Boys Basketball Open Gyms
Boys basketball open gyms will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30-9pm.
College Financial Aid Meeting - Tuesday, October 18
Southern State Community College will be sponsoring a College Financial Aid Meeting in the EC High School Cafeteria at 6pm.  This year, students may complete the FAFSA beginning on October 1.
Military Night at Clinton Massie HS - Wednesday, October 19
Clinton-Massie High School Counseling Department will be presenting “Military Night” on October 20, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. in the Commons/Auditeria/Community Room. Each branch will make a 5-10 minute presentation. At the conclusion of presentations, each branch will break off into booths. This night will provide an opportunity for the students and community to gather information about branches and ask questions. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  EC students and parents are welcome and encouraged to attend if you have any interest in military service.
Picture Retakes- Thursday, November 3
Students wanting or needing picture retakes will have their new picture taken on Thursday, November 3.
Lobby Bench
Attention students- please do not leave items on the bench in the lobby during the school day or after school. Items may only be left there during lunch and must be picked up after lunch.
After School Snack Shop
The after school snack shop is open Monday through Thursday every week from 2:30-2:55.
PSAT- Wednesday, October 19 - Sign Up by Thursday, October 13
East Clinton will be administering the PSAT test on Wednesday, October 19.   Students must sign up in advance and pay a $15 fee to take the test.  Fee waivers are available from Ms. Luck for those who receive free or reduced lunch and are juniors.   We have about 25 seats for testing and preference will go to 11th grade students on a first come, first served basis.

Students must turn in their test fees to Ms. Luck by, Thursday, October  13, 2016. All checks must be made out to East Clinton High School.

ASVAB Test Administration - Friday, November 18
The ASVAB will be administered at ECHS on Friday, November 18, beginning at 12:00 PM.The test is open for juniors and/or seniors up to 25 students.  This is a cooperative effort between ECHS and the US Army.  Please see Ms. Luck to sign up before November 11.
